ERG Africa Supplier Day
On Thursday 29 August 2024, we were proud to host the inaugural multisectoral workshop in Kolwezi aimed at promoting local entrepreneurship.
The event was well attended by a diverse group oflocal entrepreneurs and key Stakeholders across various economic sectors. Her Excellency, Mrs Fifi Masuka Saini, Governor of the Province of Lualaba, graced the occasion with her active engagement. We were also honoured by the presence of the Confederation of Congolese Enterprises (FEC) and the Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector(ARSP). Participating in the event were various banks, each of which had stands to showcase their services and financing products.
The interactive workshop included inspiring speeches, knowledge-sharing sessions and panel discussions. The diversity of sectors represented facilitated robust exchange on the region's socio-economic challenges and opportunities. In her opening remarks, Governor Saini remarked, "I extend my gratitude to the organisers of this entrepreneurship workshop in Kolwezi, particularly the Chief Executive Officer of ERG Africa. Supplier requirements
Before engaging with ERG Africa, all suppliers must meet the following core requirements:
- Operate in line with all applicable national laws and regulations
- Adhere to the ERG Supplier Code of Conduct
- Demonstrate commitment to safety, health, human rights and the environment.
- Follow transparent and ethical business practices
- Submit all necessary documents, declarations and supporting materials, including in relation to the owners of your company
All subcontractors used by approved vendors must also meet these requirements.
All suppliers are required, as a condition of doing business with ERG Africa, to adhere to the ERG Supplier Code of Conduct and to ensure
that any of their subcontractors also agree to do business in accordance with this Supplier Code of Conduct unless a separate overriding
written contract has been entered into with a specific ERG Africa entity.
