SABOT carries copper and cobalt from the DRC to mainly Dar Es Salaam and Durban ports. Return cargo includes reagents, mine supplies, project cargo, hazardous cargo and general freight. Together with Subcontractors, the fleet strength is around 500 vehicle combinations. Enroute to and from ports, the fleet traverses the DRC, Zambia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa.
Drivers are carefully selected and screened before deployment. They undergo regular classroom and in-cab training. The business utilises best-of-breed technology in cargo tracking, fleet management and fuel security. Our accident record is top-of-class in the industry.

Safety-driven operations
Workshops are OEM certified and conduct fleet maintenance to OEM specifications. Our technicians are qualified to use diagnostics and practice preventative maintenance to ensure the best fleet uptime.
SABOT fully complies with ERG safety, health and sustainability systems and has maintained a zero LTIFR for several years. Daily toolbox talks, driver briefing, alcohol and random drugs testing, regular blood pressure sugar testing, combined with and onsite clinic ensure continuous awareness keeping health and safety front of mind.
