Training for Frontier emergency team

Staff at Frontier Mine is always aware of the importance of safety, and as part of their commitment to safety, they ensure that the right measures are in place to achieve ZERO HARM.

In this regard, Frontier Mine has identified and trained emergency responders. Seventeen members of the Frontier Emergency Response Team (ERT) have successfully completed training in Rope Rescue, Confined Spaces Rescue, and Self-contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).

The training prepares the team for real life emergency situations, so it is extremely important that ERT members are provided with adequate technology and that training simulations are conducted in a realistic manner.

A series of mine rescue training and mine emergency response development exercises are utilised in order to build their capacity and state of emergency preparedness.
